As a Senior Software Engineer - CoreAI on the Engineering Horizons team, you will design, build, and deliver code intelligence, validation, and agent-driven engineering capabilities. What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 4+ years of engineering experience in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Ability to pass a Microsoft Cloud background check every two years.
Experience designing, building, testing, and supporting production software or software-based services (preferred).
Experience with distributed systems, cloud services, developer platforms, data-intensive systems, or software engineering infrastructure (preferred).
Experience contributing to technical designs and delivering software features through the complete development lifecycle (preferred).
Experience with AI assisted software development, large language models, agentic systems, retrieval systems, or code-generation technologies (preferred).
Experience with static analysis, code indexing, semantic search, repository intelligence, source-control platforms, CI/CD systems, or software validation (preferred).
Experience building or operating reliable data pipelines, developer tools, engineering productivity systems, or using telemetry and testing to improve reliability (preferred).
