What you'll do

Design and implement high-performance DNS data plane components for low-latency and high-throughput processing.
Develop core services and libraries using Go, C, Java, or Python based on specific performance needs.
Optimize system performance by tuning CPU, memory, network I/O, concurrency models, and socket configurations.
Manage the full lifecycle of data plane components including architecture, testing, rollout, and capacity planning.
Build and maintain observability tools such as metrics, logs, tracing, dashboards, and on-call playbooks.
Improve system reliability through fault-tolerant design, graceful degradation, and proactive infrastructure improvements.
Provide technical leadership by conducting code reviews, architecture reviews, and mentoring team members.

What we're looking for

At least 5 years of operations engineering experience in SaaS, cloud, or hybrid-cloud environments.
Over 5 years of experience managing and operating large-scale, highly distributed service infrastructure.
At least 3 years of hands-on Linux experience.
Proficiency in one or more of Go, C, Java, or Python.
Strong experience building and operating production-grade distributed systems and network services.
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/UDP, sockets, concurrency, and performance profiling.
Experience designing highly available systems with safe production rollouts using canaries and feature flags.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
