Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and optimize distributed system components for high-volume data processing, horizontal scaling, and vertical scalability.
• Build fault-tolerant infrastructure using redundancy, replication, automatic failover, circuit breakers, and retry mechanisms.
• Develop automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to streamline troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
• Create dashboards, telemetry systems, and alert configurations to proactively monitor system health and detect failures.
• Participate in incident response, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and author operational runbooks.
• Implement advanced security controls including encryption and access management for multi-tenant environments.
• Execute performance and load testing to ensure system stability under heavy traffic.
• Conduct fault-injection and brown-out testing to evaluate system correctness and availability.

What we're looking for

• Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Candidates must have 3 to 5+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in Java is required.
• Experience with DevOps practices is required.
• Experience designing and optimizing distributed systems for scalability, resiliency, and operability is required.
• Ability to implement fault-tolerant mechanisms including redundancy, replication, and automatic failover is required.
• Ability to develop automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud infrastructure management is required.
• Ability to apply advanced security controls such as encryption and access controls in multi-tenant environments is required.
