Senior Software Engineer, Core Infrastructure

What you'll do

• Design and optimize distributed system components for high scalability, resiliency, and large-scale data processing.
• Implement fault-tolerant features including redundancy, replication, automatic failover, circuit breakers, and retries.
• Develop automated infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to streamline troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Build monitoring systems including custom dashboards, telemetry, and alert configurations to proactively detect failures.
• Conduct performance testing, load testing, and fault-injection scenarios to ensure system correctness.
• Participate in incident response, perform root cause analysis, and author operational runbooks.
• Apply advanced security controls such as encryption and access management for multi-tenant environments.
• Manage the full software lifecycle including code reviews, documentation, and compliance with industry standards.

What we're looking for

• Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Candidates must have 3 to 5+ years of experience in software engineering or related fields.
• Experience is required in designing and optimizing components for distributed systems with a focus on scalability and resiliency.
• Proficiency in implementing fault-tolerant paths including redundancy, replication, and automatic failover is required.
• Skills in developing automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for troubleshooting and maintenance are required.
• Experience applying advanced security controls such as encryption and access management is required.
• Ability to perform load testing, performance monitoring, and incident response root cause analysis is required.
• Capability to manage project timelines independently while collaborating across teams to meet business objectives.
