What you'll do

Design and optimize components in distributed systems for scalability, resiliency, and high-volume data processing.
Implement fault-tolerant mechanisms including redundancy, replication, automatic failover, circuit breakers, and timeouts.
Develop automated tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to streamline troubleshooting and infrastructure management.
Build monitoring systems featuring custom dashboards, telemetry, and alert configurations to proactively detect failures.
Participate in incident response, perform root cause analysis, and author operational runbooks.
Execute performance and load testing to ensure system stability under heavy demand.
Apply advanced security controls including encryption and access management for multi-tenant environments.
Conduct peer code reviews to ensure compliance with scalability and architectural standards.

What we're looking for

Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Requires 3 to 5+ years of experience in software engineering or related fields.
Experience designing and optimizing components in distributed systems for scalability, resiliency, and operability is required.
Ability to implement fault-tolerant paths including redundancy, replication, automatic failover, retries, circuit breakers, and timeouts.
Proficiency in developing automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for troubleshooting and maintenance.
