What you'll do

Design and optimize distributed system components for high scalability, resiliency, and large-scale data processing.
Implement fault-tolerant features including redundancy, replication, automatic failover, circuit breakers, and retry mechanisms.
Develop monitoring tools such as custom dashboards, telemetry systems, and automated alerting to proactively detect failures.
Create automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for troubleshooting, maintenance, and cloud infrastructure management.
Perform load testing, fault injection, and brown-out scenarios to ensure system correctness and performance.
Participate in incident response, conduct root cause analyses, and author operational runbooks.
Apply advanced security controls including encryption and access management in multi-tenant environments.
Ensure all systems comply with industry standards, documentation requirements, and change management protocols.

What we're looking for

Must have 3 to 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Experience designing and optimizing components in distributed systems for scalability, resiliency, and operability.
Proficiency in implementing fault-tolerant paths including redundancy, replication, and automatic failover.
Experience with data plane platforms for high-volume retrieval, storage, and processing.
