What you'll do

Architect, design, and develop distributed backend systems and RESTful API web services using Java and Spring Boot.
Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, technical design, implementation, and production support.
Integrate cloud services such as Lambda, Kinesis, and S3 while managing infrastructure as code via CloudFormation or Terraform.
Optimize workflows through performance tuning and the management of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
Develop automated testing strategies and utilize tools to ensure software quality and reliability.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance during code reviews and interviews.
Drive technical decisions regarding software architecture, security, and high-performance solutions.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5 years of experience in Java programming, software development, or a related occupation.
Experience with Java (version 8 or higher) and Spring Boot RESTful API development.
Experience with Python and event-driven architectures for real-time data processing.
Proficiency with AWS services including Lambda, Kinesis, API Gateway, S3, SNS, SQS, and IAM.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
Proficiency in CI/CD and DevOps tools including Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and shell scripting.
AWS certification(s) or equivalent cloud expertise.
