Senior Software Engineer, Apple Pay Provisioning

What you'll do

• Implement and test new features for the Apple Pay platform based on engineering specifications.
• Write thread-safe, performant, and object-oriented code for production services and clients.
• Build and maintain comprehensive unit and integration test coverage for all delivered work.
• Debug and resolve defects in existing services, including critical production issues.
• Collaborate with client teams to ensure successful feature integration and issue resolution.
• Participate in technical design reviews and sprint planning sessions.
• Document delivered components and provide knowledge handoffs at the end of engagements.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java/Kotlin.
• Experience building and operating RESTful web services at scale.
• Strong debugging skills across the stack, from network layer to application logic.
• Demonstrated experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• BS or MS degree with software development experience or equivalent experience.
• Experience in payments, financial services, or transaction processing systems (preferred).
• Familiarity with secure element, tokenization, or cryptographic protocols (preferred); experience with AWS (preferred).
