Software Engineer, Wallet, Payments & Commerce

What you'll do

• Design, build, test, and maintain high-scale distributed software systems for payment and commerce services.
• Take full ownership of solutions throughout the entire product and software development lifecycle.
• Shape platform architecture by operating, monitoring, and providing on-call support for production software.
• Participate in technical discussions and write detailed specifications for new features.
• Perform code reviews and produce comprehensive technical documentation.
• Develop and maintain REST or gRPC services for server-to-server and mobile client interactions.
• Implement cloud-native applications with a focus on resilience, security, and privacy.
• Manage infrastructure using containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.

What we're looking for

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining complex software systems.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals.
• Experience with Java, Kotlin, and Spring for software development.
• Experience with REST and/or gRPC services for server-to-server or mobile client facing applications.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building cloud-native applications on platforms like AWS with a focus on resilience.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, observability tools, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
