As an SDET, Wallet Payments & Commerce, you will join the Apple Pay Quality Engineering team to ensure the reliability and seamlessness of evolving payment products. You will be responsible for designing, documenting, and building automated tests at scale while creating and maintaining automated UI test cases and reporting results. Your daily work involves testing new software on unreleased handheld devices, developing testing tools, triaging automation failures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage test development roadmaps. The role requires expertise in object-oriented programming, CI/CD pipelines, and validating microservices through unit, component, contract, and integration tests. You will utilize Java, Kotlin, and Swift while leveraging AI-assisted tools. Technical requirements include experience with mobile devices, service virtualization, Kubernetes, AWS, and knowledge of operating systems and networks to solve complex issues in high-scale systems.

What we're looking for

BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming.
Experience developing and maintaining automation systems that scale.
Experience testing applications built for mobile devices.
Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Experience validating microservices through unit, component, contract, and integration tests.
Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodology, and testing tools.
