Software Engineer - Adobe Experience Platform

What you'll do

• Design and deliver globally distributed systems for real-time identity resolution and customer profiling at scale.
• Integrate Generative AI and machine learning models into the platform for automated segmentation and live decisioning.
• Engineer high-throughput, low-latency data pipelines using technologies like Kafka, Spark, and Flink.
• Build and maintain mission-critical, cloud-native microservices to support trillions of queries and activations.
• Lead project delivery from initial design through production while ensuring high performance and quality standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to foster engineering excellence across the team.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver privacy-first solutions that comply with global regulatory standards.

What we're looking for

• Must have at least 5 years of experience developing large-scale distributed systems in production environments.
• Requires deep expertise in backend development using Java or Scala with advanced skills in concurrency and performance tuning.
• Must have a proven track record engineering real-time data solutions using event-driven architectures like Kafka, Spark, or Flink.
• Requires experience designing and operating fault-tolerant, low-latency APIs in cloud-native settings.
• Must possess a solid understanding of various storage technologies including SQL, NoSQL, and key-value stores.
• Preferred experience includes working with customer data platforms, martech, adtech, or identity resolution systems.
• Preferred knowledge of machine learning, personalization systems, and regulatory compliance frameworks like GDPR and CCPA.
• Must demonstrate the ability to mentor junior engineers and lead architectural direction for complex projects.
