What you'll do

Design, develop, test, and maintain production-quality cloud-native microservices for the L-CAP platform.
Serve as a Scrum Master to facilitate Agile ceremonies and remove impediments for an assigned development team.
Guide the team through SAFe cadences including PI planning, backlog refinement, and system demos.
Track and communicate team flow metrics, velocity, and progress to stakeholders and management.
Manage cross-team dependencies and resolve blockers that threaten committed program outcomes.
Utilize DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted tools to accelerate software delivery.
Support integration with legacy air traffic systems and troubleshoot issues in development and production environments.
Mentor junior engineers and uphold high standards for code quality and automated testing.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and reviewing production Java applications.
2+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master on a SAFe Agile team in a large-scale environment.
Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, JUnit, and Mockito.
Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, Linux, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and U.S. citizenship.
Knowledge of AI-assisted coding tools (preferred).
SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM), CSM, or PSM certification (preferred).
