What you'll do

Design and manage distributed Unix-based systems, specifically focusing on Oracle Linux environments.
Implement auto-scaling, self-healing infrastructure, and tune kernel parameters for high performance.
Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, Python, and Bash scripts.
Manage distributed storage solutions including GlusterFS while ensuring data replication and availability.
Build observability stacks using Prometheus and Grafana to create dashboards and SLO-based alerts.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to lead responses for high-severity incidents.
Conduct post-incident root cause analyses (RCA) to drive long-term reliability improvements.
Partner with development teams to integrate reliability into deployment pipelines and infrastructure standards.

What we're looking for

Must possess a US Government TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
Must be a United States citizen.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
5+ years of experience in software development and IT operations.
5+ years of experience in SRE, Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering roles managing production services.
Deep expertise with Unix/Linux systems, specifically Oracle Linux, including kernel tuning and performance profiling.
Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for infrastructure automation and delivery workflows.
U.S. Citizenship.
