What you'll do

Lead development of discrimination algorithms for EO/IR sensors to classify threats.
Design and implement signal processing pipelines including detection, feature extraction, and image processing.
Develop advanced decision logic to enhance classification performance in evolving threat environments.
Analyze and optimize algorithms considering noise characteristics, SNR, resolution limits, and environmental effects.
Build physics-based models and conduct simulations for validating discrimination algorithm performance.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant technical field (Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, etc.)
8+ years of experience designing and implementing signal processing algorithms for EO/IR sensors
Expertise in EO/IR sensor phenomenology including noise characteristics, detection theory, SNR analysis
Strong proficiency with signal processing techniques such as filtering, measurement generation from sensor data
Experience transitioning algorithms to production environments through modeling, simulation, and testing workflows
Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring experience for engineers
Secret security clearance required
