The ideal candidate has extensive experience in radar systems engineering, proficiency in MATLAB and Python for simulation and analysis, and hands-on experience with C++ for real-time embedded systems. Familiarity with SAR, GMTI, and space-based SIGINT modes is a plus, as well as understanding of spacecraft operations and modular payload architectures.

What you'll do

Architect and implement RF sensing technologies for space-based radar payloads.
Conduct system-of-systems analysis to decompose mission requirements into radar subsystem specifications.
Develop advanced radar techniques, waveforms, signal processing algorithms, and detection/tracking technologies.
Create internal technical roadmaps for space radar capabilities and drive consensus among teams.
Engage with DoD and IC customers to translate operational needs into technical requirements.
Provide technical leadership to program management and business development teams.

What we're looking for

10+ years of hands-on experience in radar systems engineering, including hardware and software development.
Proven track record in technical leadership for high-performance defense radar system development.
Strong expertise in radar architecture, waveform design, and signal processing algorithms.
Experience developing space-based RF sensing systems with knowledge of orbital mechanics and environmental effects.
Proficiency in MATLAB and Python for radar simulation and analysis, and C++ for real-time embedded systems.
