JOB TITLE: Senior SDET - Architect
The Senior SDET - Architect will join the team to lead enterprise-scale Azure Infrastructure as Code quality assurance initiatives. This role focuses on defining and implementing scalable quality engineering frameworks, embedding automated validation into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring infrastructure reliability, security, and compliance. You will architect comprehensive automated test strategies for Azure IaC, focusing on Terraform, ARM, and Bicep. Key responsibilities include developing Python-based test automation utilities, designing quality dashboards, and establishing automated security testing practices like policy-as-code validation and secrets exposure detection. You will utilize tools such as GitHub Actions, Terratest, and Pester to manage drift detection and root cause analysis. The role solves critical problems regarding cloud infrastructure governance, security posture, and operational readiness within a complex, regulated cloud environment.
Architect and evolve automated test strategies for Azure Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM, and Bicep.
Design and maintain Python-based test automation utilities for resource validation, configuration checks, and infrastructure reporting.
Integrate IaC quality gates into CI/CD pipelines to ensure code deployments pass automated tests and drift detection.
Establish automated security testing practices including policy-as-code validation, vulnerability checks, and secrets exposure detection.
Develop frameworks for drift detection, root cause analysis, and remediation using native Azure services and custom solutions.
Design automation reporting patterns and quality dashboards to provide visibility into test coverage and security posture.
Maintain detailed documentation on test coverage, drift findings, and corrective actions to ensure auditability.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
14+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering and automated testing.
Minimum of 3 years of experience focused on Azure public cloud.
Expertise in infrastructure automation using Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep within Azure environments.
Strong proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages for test automation design and orchestration.
Demonstrated ability to architect reusable test automation frameworks, quality gates, and reporting models for cloud infrastructure.
Required knowledge of security testing practices for cloud infrastructure, including policy compliance, vulnerability scanning, and secrets management.
