What you'll do

Perform functional testing of Layer 2 and Layer 3 features on Spectrum series Ethernet Switch systems.
Write detailed feature and system test plans and design complex test beds and topologies.
Develop automated test suites and maintain automation for continuous functional regression testing.
Identify, report, and track software defects in the defect tracking system.
Validate software fixes and workarounds for identified issues.
Participate in requirements and design reviews for Cumulus Linux features.
Troubleshoot Ethernet interfaces, modules, and performance issues.

What we're looking for

B.S. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of demonstrable experience in Software Quality Engineering.
Strong skills in Python or other scripting languages.
Hands-on experience with L2 and L3 protocols such as MLAG, VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, and EVPN.
Experience with test tools from Ixia or Spirent and experience in test management.
Proficiency with tools like HP ALM and experience working on Unix or Linux based OS.
Ansible knowledge (preferred).
Experience with bring up and troubleshooting of Ethernet interfaces, performance testing, and CI tools like Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins (preferred).
