What you'll do

Perform functional testing of Layer 2 and Layer 3 features on Ethernet Switch systems.
Develop detailed feature and system test plans for the Cumulus Linux operating system.
Design and build test beds and network topologies to support verification activities.
Create automated test suites and maintain automation infrastructure for continuous regression testing.
Identify, report, and track software defects in a defect tracking system.
Validate software fixes and workarounds identified during the testing process.
Develop scripts using Python or other languages to automate testing workflows.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of proven experience in Software Quality Engineering.
Strong technical skills in coding, debugging, problem-solving, and design.
Hands-on experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols such as MLAG, VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, and EVPN.
Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages is required.
Experience working with Unix or Linux-based operating systems.
Experience using test tools from Ixia or Spirent and various test management tools.
Familiarity with CI methodologies and tools like Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins.
