What you'll do

Architect and integrate Solid Rocket Motors, ignition systems, and Thrust Vector Control systems for missile platforms.
Design, fabricate, and test prototype components including structural interfaces and ignition control systems.
Plan, instrument, and execute ground static fire, environmental, and integration tests for propulsion systems.
Manage development projects and establish strategic partnerships with Solid Rocket Motor vendors.
Perform CAD design for motor cases, nozzles, blast tubes, and aerodynamic structural interfaces.
Lead critical hardware demonstrations with customers to showcase system capabilities.
Travel to vendor sites, test ranges, and other locations as required for testing and integration.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering.
8+ years of propulsion engineering experience on tactical missiles, launch vehicles, or air vehicles.
Experience with Solid Rocket Motors (SRMs) for aerospace or defense applications.
Strong understanding of solid rocket motor ballistics, propellant chemistry, and grain design.
Proven experience designing complex mechanical parts, structural interfaces, or rocket motor components using 3D CAD.
Exposure to static fire testing, environmental testing, or qualification of rocket motors.
Familiarity with manufacturing methods including machining, composites, high-temperature materials, and 3D printing.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance (Active Top Secret preferred).
