What you'll do

Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for software issues via phone and email.
Diagnose software problems and recommend appropriate solutions to clients.
Identify, test, and implement workarounds for software bugs or deficiencies.
Improve standard processes through automation using scripting and programming.
Coordinate with engineering and product management teams to resolve open customer issues.
Maintain detailed logs of customer interactions and prepare resolution reports.
Manage risk and control processes to mitigate potential risks in daily operations.
Perform SQL queries and tune performance for Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server databases.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related technical field.
5 years of experience in Financial Technology and application production support.
Proven exposure to SQL and understanding of relational database theory or Oracle/Microsoft SQL Server.
Proven exposure to one or more structured programming languages.
Demonstrated experience in system administration, including configuration management and operating system fundamentals.
Experience with Oracle or SQL Database loads and performance tuning for queries and stored procedures.
Understanding of Trade Life Cycle and System Development Life Cycle.
Strong communication skills for interacting with senior stakeholders and solving complex technical problems.
