What you'll do

Design and operate cloud-scale observability platforms for metrics, logs, and traces.
Implement scalable telemetry collection, ingestion, processing, storage, and query systems.
Develop distributed systems to process massive volumes of telemetry data with low latency.
Build scalable storage and indexing solutions for high-cardinality metrics.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the ingestion, storage, and query stack.
Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex distributed systems in production.
Establish and monitor service health, scalability, and cost-efficiency metrics for platforms.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on engineering best practices.

What we're looking for

Must have a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent.
Must have 4+ years of experience in the industry.
Must be proficient in Java, Go, C, C++, and Python.
Must have experience with cloud scale products, multi-tenant services, and concurrent programming.
Must have experience with cloud technologies and the full product/service development and operations lifecycle.
Must possess strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to adapt to fast-changing requirements.
Experience with tools such as Terraform (preferred).
Experience with designing and developing observability solutions for metrics, logs, and traces (preferred).
