What you'll do

Design, build, and operate large-scale, highly available, cloud-based distributed systems in multi-tenant environments.
Develop infrastructure tools, libraries, and integrations to enable automated management of cloud resources.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices using tools like Terraform integrated with CI/CD workflows.
Troubleshoot and perform performance tuning on complex cloud systems.
Ensure all software and systems adhere to current security principles and protocols.
Maintain high standards for code quality, documentation, testing, and professional development.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
4+ years of experience building and operating large-scale, highly available, cloud-based distributed systems.
Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, C, C++, C#, Go, or Python.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or equivalent frameworks.
Solid understanding of IaC integration with CI/CD pipelines and automated cloud resource management.
Validated knowledge of operating system fundamentals, distributed persistence technologies, and networking protocols.
Experience with cloud provider platforms such as AWS EC2, EBS, Lambda, Dynamo, S3, or equivalents.
Experience contributing to open-source IaC projects (preferred); familiarity with Go for infrastructure tooling (preferred).
