What you'll do

Design and operate cloud-scale observability platforms for metrics, logs, traces, and telemetry data.
Architect scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient systems for telemetry collection, ingestion, processing, storage, and query execution.
Develop high-performance indexing solutions for large-scale log analytics and high-cardinality metrics.
Build and optimize search and retrieval services to provide fast access to observability data.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the entire observability stack including ingestion and aggregation.
Drive technical strategy and architectural decisions for distributed systems in hyperscale cloud environments.
Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex distributed systems in production environments.
Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership to foster engineering best practices across the organization.

What we're looking for

Candidates must have 6 to 10+ years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in the C++ programming language is required.
Experience with Java programming is required.
Expertise in distributed systems is required.
Experience with production telemetry is required.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
