What you'll do

Lead design, development, and operation of cloud-scale observability platforms for metrics, logs, traces.
Architect and implement highly scalable telemetry collection, ingestion, processing, storage, and query systems.
Drive evolution of end-to-end observability pipelines from instrumentation to real-time analytics.
Design distributed systems for ingesting massive volumes of telemetry data with strict latency requirements.
Develop scalable storage solutions for high-cardinality metrics and large-scale log analytics workloads.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the observability stack, including ingestion and query execution.
Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership in fostering engineering best practices.

What we're looking for

10+ years of industry experience in cloud-scale products and services
Expertise in Java, Go, C, C++, Python programming languages
Experience with multi-tenant services and concurrent programming
Strong background in open source technologies for development and management
Proven track record in full product/service development and operations lifecycle
Deep understanding of performance, scalability, reliability, and recovery in large-scale distributed systems
Ability to design and develop observability solutions including metrics, logs, traces
