Senior Platform Software Engineer, OCI - Developer Platform

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and operate reliable services, frameworks, and infrastructure for the Confident Commits platform.
• Build capabilities to make testing easier to run, understand, and integrate across various development and execution environments.
• Implement features to capture, normalize, store, and surface test results consistently across pipelines and CI/CD systems.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and pre-production issues in testing services and infrastructure with urgency.
• Write maintainable, well-tested code with clear documentation and measurable quality improvements.
• Use data and operational signals to identify testing bottlenecks, flaky behavior, and reliability gaps.
• Drive measurable improvements in test execution time, result accuracy, and platform adoption.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to maintain the operational health of the service.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience delivering production-quality distributed systems, platform services, or developer tools.
• Strong programming skills in one or more modern languages such as Java, Go, C++, C#, or Python.
• Experience designing APIs, data models, and service architectures with attention to scalability, availability, security, and operability.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native systems, including containers, orchestration, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, or release engineering concepts.
• Demonstrated ownership to drive work from problem definition through design, implementation, launch, and ongoing operation.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering disciplines.
• Experience in application deployment, large-scale distributed systems, SRE, or security engineering (preferred).
