Senior Plasma and Laser Physics Engineer

What you'll do

• Act as the technical owner for the design, validation, and review of DUV laser discharge chambers.
• Drive the development and integration of innovative core technologies to improve excimer laser chamber performance.
• Apply physics and engineering principles to enhance the reliability and efficiency of discharge plasma systems.
• Validate new concepts through prototype builds, system-level testing, and detailed data analysis.
• Investigate complex scientific problems independently and recommend technical solutions for manufacturing challenges.
• Prepare and revise technical documentation including memos, specification documents, and design validation reports.
• Present technical findings and progress reports to management, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage the transition of product designs from initial conception through to full production.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must have a Master's degree in Physics, Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
• A PhD is strongly preferred for this position.
• Minimum of three years of relevant industry or research institute experience is required with a Master's degree.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to access controlled technology as defined by Export Administration Regulations.
• Experience in plasma physics, electromagnetics, flow dynamics, and laser systems is preferred.
• Proficiency in MATLAB or Python for data analysis is required.
• Experience with CAD design tools such as Creo or SolidWorks is required.
• Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to report problems and present to management.
