What you'll do

Lead troubleshooting for network issues and coordinate incident responses with other departments.
Execute simultaneous change implementations with a focus on automation and documentation.
Analyze packet captures to resolve complex networking issues for internal and external customers.
Perform operational acceptance testing for new environments and identify gaps in procedures.
Research and adopt emerging technologies to support a multi-vendor network environment.
Evaluate and propose improvements to existing network designs and operational processes.
Manage global network configurations and documentation to support various business units.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
Extensive in-depth knowledge and troubleshooting expertise of routing and switching protocols including OSPF, BGP, and STP.
Experience designing and supporting large scale multicast networks, specifically focusing on financial market data feeds.
Experience in network monitoring, packet capture tools, or software-defined networking.
Excellent understanding of security best practices including firewalls, proxies, penetration scans, SSL, IPsec, and Dot1x.
Experience implementing and troubleshooting wireless networks, including standards, security, and radio placement.
Fundamental knowledge and theoretical understanding of software and hardware load balancers.
Familiarity and/or experience with scripting languages and automation tools to operationalize tasks and speed up deployments.
