What you'll do

Manage and optimize ultra-low-latency networks and physical data-center infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments.
Design and maintain routing, traffic segmentation, and multicast market-data architectures using BGP, OSPF, and VRFs.
Deploy and operate firewalls and secure connectivity using Fortinet and Palo Alto platforms.
Drive observability through telemetry analysis, microburst detection, and network automation using Python or Ansible.
Lead incident response, failover testing, and out-of-hours maintenance for 24/7 trading systems.
Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure the reliability of production trading environments.
Partner with cross-functional teams to reduce single-point-of-failure risks and increase developer velocity.

What we're looking for

8+ years of experience in network, infrastructure, or SRE engineering for production systems in financial services or latency-sensitive environments.
Expertise in multicast networking, BGP, OSPF, VRFs, and high-availability architectures.
Experience with low-latency data-center switching and physical network infrastructure including racking and cabling.
Proficiency with Fortinet or Palo Alto firewalls and various VPN technologies.
Experience with SNMP, gRPC telemetry, and network automation using Python or Ansible.
Strong Linux networking fundamentals in latency-critical environments.
Ability to lead live incident response for production trading systems and manage risk during changes.
Familiarity with exchange or electronic trading system concepts.
