What you'll do

Own and optimize ultra-low-latency networks and physical data-center infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments.
Design and maintain routing, traffic-segmentation, and multicast market-data architectures using BGP, OSPF, and high-availability platforms.
Deploy and operate firewalls and secure connectivity using Fortinet and Palo Alto platforms.
Drive observability through telemetry, latency analysis, microburst detection, and network automation using Python or Ansible.
Lead production changes, incident response, failover testing, and out-of-hours maintenance for 24/7 trading systems.
Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure the reliability of production trading systems.
Mentor engineers and partner with cross-functional teams to reduce single-point-of-failure risks and increase developer velocity.

What we're looking for

8+ years of network, infrastructure, or SRE engineering experience in financial services, electronic trading, or latency-sensitive environments.
Deep hands-on expertise with multicast networking, BGP, OSPF, VRFs, high-availability architectures, and low-latency data-center switching.
Proven ability to lead live incident response for production trading systems and manage risk during changes.
Experience with Fortinet or Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, SNMP or gRPC telemetry, and network automation using Python or Ansible.
Strong Linux networking fundamentals in latency-critical environments.
Familiarity with exchange or electronic trading system concepts.
Deep crypto experience (preferred).
Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly to drive workflow efficiency and quality.
