What you'll do

Engineer and operate global data center, cloud, and FedRAMP-authorized network solutions.
Optimize global IP backbone routing using BGP, OSPF, and advanced traffic engineering strategies.
Implement secure network segmentation and boundary controls for regulated FedRAMP environments.
Manage hybrid and cloud-native routing across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms.
Develop automated provisioning and compliance pipelines using Python, Ansible, and CI/CD workflows.
Troubleshoot complex routing, TCP, and connectivity issues using packet captures and logs.
Lead incident response and execute network changes using structured procedures and rollback mechanisms.
Maintain high-quality documentation, architectural diagrams, and runbooks for audits and operations.

What we're looking for

10+ years of experience in network engineering with large-scale, multi-region, and global routing environments.
Experience engineering, operating, or supporting FedRAMP Moderate and/or High environments (preferred).
Deep hands-on expertise with BGP and OSPF in global IP backbone environments, including traffic engineering and multi-vendor interoperability.
Strong operational and engineering experience with JunOS (MX, QFX, SRX preferred).
Proficiency with additional network OS platforms such as EOS, NX-OS, or IOS-XE (preferred).
Experience with hybrid and cloud-native networking across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
Hands-on automation skills using Python, Ansible/AWX, configuration templating, Git workflows, and automated testing/validation pipelines.
Strong understanding of network security controls, boundary protection, encryption, logging, and segmentation concepts required for FedRAMP.
