As a Senior Network Engineer within the Cyber & Analytics Business Area, you will provide expert engineering across the entire network and telecommunications lifecycle to support critical national-security missions. You will design, build, integrate, and deploy secure solutions while managing infrastructure including routers, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, cryptographic devices, VoIP, VTC, POTS, and VSAT satellite communications. Your daily work involves optimizing performance through routing protocols, BGP, policy-based routing, traffic shaping, tunneling, IPsec, NAT, and WAN acceleration. You will also perform advanced TCP/IP analysis to manage latency and throughput while providing technical leadership to junior engineers. The role requires proficiency in Palo Alto Networks firewalls and experience with Certification and Accreditation requirements.
