What you'll do

Design and develop advanced network fabric and systems to support large-scale cloud and AI infrastructure.
Decompose high-level network architectures into detailed, scalable solution designs and technical specifications.
Develop scripts and automation modules to streamline complex operational tasks and monitor network health.
Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex network incidents and lead root-cause analysis efforts.
Create test cases and strategies to validate production networks and ensure hardware and software integrity.
Provide technical guidance, coaching, and development support to junior and senior engineering staff.
Analyze network performance metrics to identify efficiency issues and develop scaling strategies for growth.
Collaborate with vendors to resolve operational issues and evaluate new hardware and technology adoptions.

What we're looking for

Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Candidates must have 3 to 5+ years of experience.
Experience with optical networks and optics is required.
Proficiency in Python coding and scripting is required.
Experience with data center cabling is required.
At least 3-5 years of network infrastructure engineering in optics and optical networks (preferred).
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required (preferred).
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
