The Senior Network Developer [NAT] provides technical engineering expertise for the delivery and activation of network connectivity supporting OCI regions, AI infrastructure, and capacity expansion. What you'll do

Provide technical leadership for the delivery and activation of network connectivity for OCI regions and AI infrastructure.
Translate network designs into technical requirements for carriers, fiber providers, ISPs, and colocation partners.
Support the delivery of carrier circuits, dark fiber, wavelengths, optical transport, and data center interconnects.
Validate delivered infrastructure against engineering requirements before performing operational handoffs.
Troubleshoot Layer 1 through Layer 3 connectivity issues across fiber, optics, routing, and provider networks.
Perform circuit acceptance, fiber validation, optical testing, and remediation for network components.
Develop and improve technical standards, Methods of Procedure (MOPs), runbooks, and operational documentation.
Use automation scripts and AI-assisted tools to simplify engineering, validation, and troubleshooting tasks.

What we're looking for

Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
3 to 5+ years of experience in a hyperscale cloud, ISP, telecommunications provider, data center, or large-scale enterprise networking environment.
Strong understanding of Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 networking.
Deep knowledge of at least two networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, TCP/IP, Ethernet, or optical networking.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting network connectivity across physical infrastructure, optics, Ethernet, routing, and provider networks.
Experience with Internet connectivity, peering, backbone networking, or service provider networks.
Experience with scripting or programming, preferably Python, or another scripting or compiled language.
Experience with carrier circuit provisioning, turn-up, testing, or acceptance (preferred).
