Senior Modem Engineer, Satellite Communication

What you'll do

• Translate system-level requirements into hardware specifications and RTL implementation.
• Configure, instantiate, and integrate SoC subsystems and third-party IP blocks.
• Perform synthesis, static timing analysis, and timing closure to meet performance targets.
• Implement low-power designs including power domain definitions and UPF/CPF development.
• Develop and maintain gate-level simulation test plans to verify ASIC functionality.
• Own and develop specific Modem IP blocks and necessary support logic.
• Contribute to SoC floor planning and initial synthesis activities.
• Assist with hardware debug, bring-up, and unit verification test plan development.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Communications Engineering, or experience working in electrical engineering field.
• 7+ years of experience in digital design, preferably in SoC design and implementation.
• Experience with Modem SoC design and development.
• 7+ years of digital design in communication systems experience (preferred).
• Master's or Ph.D degree in Electrical / Communications Engineering (preferred).
• Deep understanding of modem SoC architecture, including PHY/MAC subsystems and system-level integration (preferred).
• Familiarity with UVM (preferred).
• Ability to write assertions and exposure to Formal verification (preferred).
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum due to export control laws.
