As a senior member of our Mixed Signal Design Validation team, you will take full ownership of developing and implementing tests for high-speed mixed-signal circuits, including electro-optical transceivers. Your day-to-day responsibilities include building validation test suites, conducting detailed characterization across various conditions, debugging complex issues, providing feedback to designers, and optimizing system performance through scripting and tool development. You will also lead discussions with cross-functional teams to enhance circuit performance. The ideal candidate possesses a BS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, 8+ years of experience, and expertise in silicon bring-up, lab instrumentation, and multi-protocol SerDes architecture. Proficiency in Python, Git, MATLAB, and JMP is essential, along with strong collaborative skills and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
Build and execute validation test suites for high-speed I/Os and mixed-signal circuits.
Characterize analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit blocks under various conditions.
Debug complex technical issues by devising innovative solutions.
Provide feedback to designers on silicon performance and margins.
Develop tools and scripts to support electrical characterization activities.
Train new engineers in validation practices and methodologies.
What we're looking for
8+ years experience in Electrical Engineering or related field
