As a Senior Mixed Signal Design Validation Engineer, you will join the Mixed Signal Design Validation team to lead the bring-up and characterization of high-speed mixed-signal circuits and perform system validation of electro-optical transceivers. Your daily responsibilities include building validation test suites for high-speed I/Os and analog circuits, performing detailed characterization across process, voltage, and temperature variations, and correlating data with simulations. You will debug technically challenging issues, provide feedback to analog designers on silicon performance, and develop tools to support electrical characterization. The role requires proficiency in Python, Git, MATLAB, and JMP to write scripts for automation and data analysis. You must possess in-depth knowledge of fundamental analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits, as well as experience with silicon bring-up and lab instrumentation.

What you'll do

Build validation test suites for high-speed I/Os and analog circuits.
Characterize analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit blocks across PVT variations.
Correlate experimental data with simulations to validate circuit performance.
Debug technically challenging issues by devising creative solutions for silicon performance.
Provide feedback to analog designers regarding design quality and performance margins.
Develop tools and scripts to support electrical characterization and chip bring-up.
Train new engineers in standard validation practices and procedures.

What we're looking for

A BS degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
At least 8 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
In-depth technical knowledge of fundamental analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits is required.
Experience in silicon bring-up, debugging, and the use of lab instrumentation is required.
Ability to write scripts for validation, debugging, data analysis, and automation is required.
Proficiency in Python, Git, MATLAB, and JMP is required.
Comprehensive understanding of multi-protocol SerDes architecture (preferred).
In-depth understanding of measurement theory and test instruments (preferred).
