What you'll do

Design and implement high-speed interfaces and complex mixed-signal circuits using sub-micron CMOS technologies.
Develop high-speed analog and hybrid Phase Locked Loops including VCOs, charge-pumps, and dividers.
Design data converters such as analog-to-digital (ADC) and digital-to-analog (DAC) converters.
Perform transistor-level circuit design for comparators, digital state machines, and high-performance op-amps.
Conduct architecture studies, circuit simulations, and floor-planning for integrated circuits.
Coordinate with mask design engineers for physical design and characterization groups for silicon evaluation.
Execute reliability verifications and support silicon bring-up processes.
Facilitate technology transfer from the design phase to product development teams.

What we're looking for

BSEE or equivalent experience is required.
A Master of Science degree is preferred.
6+ years of industry experience in deep-submicron CMOS technologies is required.
Analytical and intuitive understanding of transistor level analog design, layout, and simulation is required.
Hands-on design experience in performance analog and hybrid Phase Locked Loops, and ADC/DAC data converters is required.
Experience with digital PLL, TDC, DSP, or control theory is a plus.
Proficiency in Cadence custom circuit design tools like ADE-L and ADE-XL is required.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Perl, Python, or MATLAB is a plus.
