Senior Manager, Software Engineering

What you'll do

• Hire, lead, and mentor a team of software engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage end-to-end tools, systems, and applications supporting Salesforce Finance and HR systems.
• Define project scopes, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Drive the adoption of software engineering best practices, including Agile and CI/CD methodologies.
• Champion the use of MuleSoft and Workday integration solutions to streamline business processes.
• Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive test automation strategies for integrations.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate regular project status updates.
• Manage vendor partners and teams extended with external contractors.

What we're looking for

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering and operations with a track record of leadership in Finance and HR systems.
• Experience in project delivery for Workday Human Capital Management and/or Financial Transformation.
• Experience in the HR domain (Hire to Retire, Talent Foundations, Total Rewards, Global Time & Absence, Payroll) or Finance domain.
• Experience in multiple integration technologies like MuleSoft and Workday integrations (Studio, Orchestrations, etc.).
• Experience managing global teams across multiple time zones and managing vendor partners or teams extended with contractors.
• Strong understanding of engineering management principles, including team leadership, performance management, and talent development.
• Experience with agile/scrum methodology.
• A related technical degree is required.
