Senior Manager, Software Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of platform engineers to build a culture of ownership and accountability.
• Set the technical vision and roadmap for the next-generation Service Mesh and Identity architecture.
• Orchestrate and monitor the availability of microservices across a fleet of over 1,000 clusters.
• Maintain the reliability, observability, and self-healing capabilities of the multi-cloud compute platform.
• Partner with architects and product owners to deliver features and proactively identify technical issues.
• Integrate AI tools into the team's daily development cycle while guarding architectural integrity and security.
• Evaluate the quality and security of AI-generated code and multi-agent workflows.

What we're looking for

• You must have 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• You must have 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
• You must have hands-on depth in Kubernetes, service mesh, networking, and a major public cloud.
• You must have the technical depth to judge the architecture and quality of AI-generated output.
• You must have a related technical degree.
• You should have programming experience in Go or Python (preferred).
• You should have used infrastructure-as-code and delivery tools such as Terraform and Argo (preferred).
• You should have used observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or Elasticsearch (preferred).
