The Senior Manager, Finance Insights & Decision Support is a founding leadership role within the Finance Intelligence team. This position is responsible for establishing and growing the Finance Insights & Decision Support capability by partnering with Pharmacy Services Finance stakeholders. The role involves identifying emerging risks, trends, and information gaps through analytical investigation and business partnership. Key responsibilities include leading structured investigations into ambiguous questions, translating findings into executive-ready materials, and defining the long-term vision and operating model for the function. The successful candidate will apply analytical, statistical, forecasting, AI-enabled, machine learning, and decision-science techniques to solve complex business problems. Required skills include exploratory analysis, hypothesis testing, and structured problem solving within a healthcare or pharmacy benefit management domain to support informed organizational decision-making.
Establish and evolve the methodology, engagement model, and operating standards for the Finance Insights & Decision Support function.
Partner with Pharmacy Services stakeholders to identify business challenges, information gaps, risks, and opportunities.
Lead structured investigations into ambiguous questions, unexpected performance, and emerging business trends.
Translate analytical findings into actionable insights and executive-ready materials to support informed decision-making.
Apply statistical, forecasting, AI-enabled, and machine learning techniques to solve complex business problems.
Operationalize proven insights into recurring reporting, monitoring metrics, or automated analytical solutions.
Define the long-term vision, talent strategy, and organizational structure for the Finance Insights & Decision Support function.
What we're looking for
7+ years of experience in analytics, finance, business intelligence, strategy, consulting, decision support, data science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience applying analytical techniques such as exploratory analysis, trend analysis, forecasting, hypothesis testing, and structured problem solving.
2+ years of experience leveraging AI-enabled tools, machine learning, advanced analytics, or modern analytical technologies to support decision-making.
3+ years of leadership experience building, leading, scaling, or helping establish teams, capabilities, functions, or major initiatives.
Ability to travel up to 10% including by plane.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Analytics, or related fields; equivalent work experience may substitute.
Advanced degree (preferred).
Experience in finance, FP&A, healthcare, PBM, or other complex business domains (preferred).
