What you'll do

Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish validation standards for AI-generated outputs including secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
Create high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with existing systems.
Produce architecture and design artifacts while ensuring all software development meets specific design constraints.
Identify hidden patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
Integrate automation capabilities within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to increase value.
Contribute to engineering communities of practice to explore and implement emerging technologies.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
5+ years of applied experience in software engineering.
8+ years of software development experience.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and establishing validation standards.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and coaching engineers on compliant adoption.
Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.
Practical experience with Java, Spring Framework (Boot, MVC, Data), RESTful APIs, Kafka, Postgres SQL, and Microservices.
Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, and cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
