As a Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer – Network Engineer within the Corporate Sector of the Infrastructure Platforms team, you will apply deep technical expertise to manage the lifecycle of network infrastructure. You will plan, design, deploy, and configure network solutions for the Wide Area Network environment using Cisco routers, switches, and other devices. Your daily work involves troubleshooting complex issues, modernizing the Enterprise WAN, and ensuring designs meet security standards like SOC 2 and ISO 27001. You will utilize enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to analyze infrastructure signals and automate routines. Required skills include proficiency in routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, and MPLS; experience with Python, JavaScript, YAML, and Bash; and knowledge of hardware platforms like Cisco ASR and Arista. You may also utilize Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet for configuration management.
Analyze complex data and systems to anticipate issues and advise on mitigation actions.
Utilize enterprise-authorized AI tools to analyze infrastructure signals and document mitigation options.
Plan, design, deploy, and configure network solutions for the Wide Area Network environment.
Modernize the Enterprise WAN while ensuring designs adhere to industry best practices and security standards.
Manage the lifecycle of network infrastructure, including deployment packages and performance optimization.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues considering upstream and downstream dependencies.
Ensure all engineering work complies with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and internal risk standards.
Lead the adoption of AI-assisted practices across delivery and automation routines to reduce recurring issues.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on experience in Network Engineering and formal training or certification on technical and network design concepts (CCIE, CCNP, etc.).
Experience configuring and troubleshooting routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, MPLS, RSVP-TE, and IS-IS.
Working knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/UDP, DHCP, DNS, LB, FWL, Proxy, and both IPv4 and IPv6.
Deep knowledge of multiple infrastructure technologies and scripting languages including Python, JavaScript, YAML, JSON, and Bash.
Experience with various OS and Hypervisor platforms such as Hyper-V, ESXi, KVM, VMWARE, and Open Shift.
Technical knowledge of Hardware Platforms including Cisco ASR Class Routers and Arista.
Experience in CI/CD and tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet (preferred); knowledge of 40/100/400G Ethernet and optical transport technologies (preferred).
