Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer, Network Engineer

What you'll do

• Apply technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies to improve data and systems running at scale.
• Ensure end-to-end monitoring of applications and determine appropriate escalation paths for technical issues.
• Drive daily activities supporting standard capacity process applications.
• Identify potential capacity risks and govern remediation statuses with application and infrastructure teams.
• Evaluate upstream and downstream data and technical implications for infrastructure projects.
• Make significant decisions for projects involving multiple technologies and applications.
• Design and deploy full-stack network architectures, specifically focusing on Arista switches.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
• 5+ years of full stack network design and deployment experience, focusing on Arista switches.
• Experience with broadcast network architecture, including SMPTE ST 2110 standards and IP-based media workflows.
• Operating knowledge of two or more areas including SD-WAN, fabric switching, Wi-Fi, or network security.
• Proficiency in specific network infrastructure technology and programming languages such as Python and Ansible.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds.
• Experience with wired/wireless LAN, BGP WAN, SD-WAN, and 802.1x technologies from Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Fortinet, and Forescout (preferred).
• Strong communication skills to convey ideas and challenges with clarity and precision (preferred).
