As a Senior Fullstack Engineer - Customer Risk Assessment, you will join the Customer Risk Assessment team to build a centralized platform providing deep visibility into customer financial crime risk. You will develop and deploy resilient backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot while building intuitive, accessible frontends with React and TypeScript. Your daily work involves aggregating data across multiple fincrime topologies, owning common components of risk mitigation, and creating scalable, standardized workflows for servicing agents to resolve complex compliance bottlenecks. The role requires expertise in distributed, concurrent systems and a commitment to high coding standards including test coverage and code reviews. You will solve the technical challenge of navigating strict global regulatory requirements by building tools that unify disparate risk signals into a single view to protect customer funds while enabling rapid, automated scaling of operations.
Design, develop, and deploy resilient backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Build intuitive and accessible frontends using React and TypeScript.
Develop centralized tools to aggregate data across multiple financial crime topologies for a 360-degree risk view.
Own and develop common components of risk mitigation to provide scalable workflows for servicing agents.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks in compliance processes by delivering adaptable platform solutions.
Manage the full product journey from identifying problems and stakeholder empathy to shipping production code.
Design and implement distributed, concurrent systems while managing trade-offs between stateful/stateless and synchronous/asynchronous architectures.
What we're looking for
You have a strong engineering background in Java and experience with the Spring Boot stack.
You have experience putting scalable microservices into production and maintaining them in cloud-based environments.
You have experience building performant, responsive web applications using React and TypeScript/JavaScript.
You are well-versed in writing clean, scalable, and testable code including test coverage best practices and the test pyramid concept.
You have experience designing and implementing distributed, concurrent systems with an understanding of stateful/stateless and synchronous/asynchronous architectures.
You can break down complex projects into incremental milestones that deliver immediate customer value.
You can articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences or distributed cross-functional peers.
