As a Senior Fullstack Engineer - Customer Risk Assessment, you will join the Customer Risk Assessment team to build a centralized platform providing deep visibility into financial crime risk. You will be responsible for designing and deploying resilient backend microservices while building intuitive, accessible frontends to aggregate data across multiple fincrime topologies. The role involves owning common components of risk mitigation, breaking down bottlenecks in compliance processes, and creating scalable, standardized workflows for servicing agents. To succeed, you must possess strong engineering experience with Java and the Spring Boot stack for backend development, alongside expertise in React and TypeScript or JavaScript for frontend work. You will navigate complex regulatory requirements by building systems that evaluate customer risk globally, ensuring the platform remains stable and scalable while solving critical problems related to financial crime prevention and automated risk mitigation.
Design, develop, and deploy resilient backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Build intuitive and accessible frontends using React and TypeScript.
Create centralized tools to aggregate data across multiple financial crime topologies for a 360-degree risk view.
Develop common components of risk mitigation to provide scalable, standardized workflows for servicing agents.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks in compliance processes by delivering adaptable platform solutions.
Manage the full product journey from identifying problems and empathizing with stakeholders to shipping production code.
Design and implement distributed, concurrent systems while managing trade-offs between stateful/stateless and synchronous/asynchronous architectures.
What we're looking for
You have a strong engineering background in Java and experience with the Spring Boot stack.
You have experience putting scalable microservices into production and maintaining them in cloud environments.
You have experience building performant, responsive web applications using React and TypeScript/JavaScript.
You are proficient in writing clean, scalable, and testable code while following best practices for test coverage and code reviews.
You have experience designing and implementing distributed, concurrent systems with an understanding of stateful/stateless and synchronous/asynchronous architectures.
You can break down complex projects into incremental milestones that deliver immediate customer value.
You can articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences or cross-functional peers.
