The Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack (Risk Tech) joins the Risk Tech team to build and deploy proprietary risk management solutions powered by state-of-the-art AI technology. Working with the GRC team, you will lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers to create distributed microservices and full stack systems that meet regulatory needs. You will build robust cloud-based solutions using NodeJs, TypeScript, Angular, HTML/CSS, Java, SQL, Python, Kafka, and Open Source RDBMS or NoSQL databases. The role involves utilizing Springboot, VueJs, Docker, AWS Fargate, and Lambda within a microservice and micro UI architecture. You will solve complex business problems by developing data-driven tools that use machine learning to prevent risks and automatically detect issues before they impact customers.

What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers to create solutions for regulatory needs.
Build and deploy proprietary risk management solutions powered by state-of-the-art AI technology.
Develop robust cloud-based solutions using AWS tools, Lambda, and container orchestration services like Docker and Fargate.
Implement microservice and micro UI architectures using frameworks such as Springboot, NodeJs, Angular, and VueJs.
Utilize programming languages including Java, Python, TypeScript, and SQL to develop data-driven tools.
Mentor other members of the engineering community and share expertise on emerging technology trends.
Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver high-quality experiences for financial empowerment.

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
Master's Degree (preferred).
9+ years of experience in at least one of JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred).
4+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service (preferred).
4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred).
1+ years of people management experience (preferred).
