The Force Protection Division seeks a Field Service Representative to join their team as a mid-level professional responsible for the technical support and maintenance of deployed prototype systems within the Rock Island Arsenal force protection ecosystem. This role involves installing and configuring sensors, communications infrastructure, and operational technology devices, ensuring they operate reliably and meet performance requirements. The representative will collaborate closely with the Field Operations Lead, Systems Engineering team, Software Engineering team, and subcontractor personnel to diagnose and resolve field equipment issues, conduct preventative maintenance, and support environmental tuning activities. Essential skills include hands-on installation and maintenance experience, strong leadership, and problem-solving abilities in multi-vendor integration and communications infrastructure deployment within OT/ICN environments. Experience with DoD programs and US Army customers is preferred.

What you'll do

  • Install and configure sensors and communications equipment.
  • Conduct field adjustments and operational tuning of deployed systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, communication, and connectivity issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and coordinate repair activities.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment failures.
  • Document installation activities and maintain equipment configuration records.

What we're looking for

  • 3-5 years of experience in Field Service Engineering or Technical Field Support on DoD programs.
  • Hands-on installation and maintenance experience with multi-vendor integration and communications infrastructure deployment.
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills for managing multiple concurrent activities.
  • Ability to work independently in field environments and provide strong customer support.
  • US citizenship and current secret clearance required.
