Senior Field Engineer, ECH SME

What you'll do

• Configure on-premise and cloud-hosted Emergency Call Handling solutions based on specific site designs.
• Perform site verification testing before transitioning systems into production environments.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local site infrastructure and cloud-hosted application environments.
• Document all changes to solution configurations, including cloud tenant settings and API integrations.
• Develop and approve Methods of Procedure for cloud migrations and system upgrades.
• Provide technical support to customers and channel partners during the deployment phase.
• Resolve installation and quality issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Participate in pre-contract oral presentations and customer negotiations as required.

What we're looking for

• High School diploma, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Technology.
• 5+ years of experience working in an Engineering or Technical environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
• Must possess or be eligible for a US passport for international travel up to 75%.
• Experience with Cloud-based application troubleshooting, including connectivity, latency analysis, and identity management (SSO/Active Directory).
• Knowledge of telephony systems including analog lines, PRI, ACD call routing, SIP interfaces, and SBC provisioning.
• Proficiency in server virtualization (RedHat KVM, VMWare ESXi, or Microsoft Hyper-V), database servers, and various operating systems.
• Experience with network switches (Cisco IOS) and basic knowledge of firewalls and routers (Fortinet FortiGate).
• 3+ years of experience in the deployment or integration of complex IP products and systems (preferred).
• Relevant Cloud Certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (preferred).
• Experience with Public Safety Applications deployment, integration, operations, or administration (preferred).
