As a Senior Field Application Engineer - OEM, you will serve as the technical lead working directly with end customers, NVIS, and OEM deployment teams from planning through operational handover. You will coordinate site readiness, equipment availability, installation schedules, and requirements for power, cooling, networking, and system configuration while guiding teams through system bring-up and validation to meet acceptance criteria. The role involves resolving deployment issues, communicating risks, and maintaining documentation. Required skills include experience in data center deployment, systems engineering, infrastructure integration, and troubleshooting servers, GPU systems, or clustered infrastructure. You will utilize Linux, BIOS/UEFI, BMC management, drivers, firmware, and system diagnostics. Preferred technical expertise includes HGX, DGX, or MGX platforms, liquid cooling, Ethernet or InfiniBand networking, and automation using Python or shell scripting to solve complex AI and HPC deployment challenges.
Serve as the primary technical FAE for end customers and OEM deployment teams from planning through handover.
Coordinate site readiness including equipment availability, installation schedules, power, cooling, networking, and system configurations.
Guide deployment teams through installation, system bring-up, integration, and validation to meet customer acceptance criteria.
Resolve deployment issues and address partner concerns across customer, OEM, and NVIDIA internal teams.
Communicate project progress, risks, and recovery plans to relevant stakeholders.
Maintain deployment documentation and improve standard procedures based on lessons learned.
What we're looking for
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in data center deployment, systems engineering, infrastructure integration, or technical delivery.
Hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting servers, GPU systems, or clustered infrastructure with knowledge of power, cooling, storage, and networking.
Experience with Linux, BIOS/UEFI, BMC management, drivers, firmware, and system diagnostics.
Strong project management and customer communication skills to coordinate delivery across multiple organizations.
Ability to operate from the Round Rock area and travel to customer and deployment sites as required.
Experience deploying NVIDIA HGX, DGX, or MGX platforms, or comparable AI and HPC systems (preferred).
Familiarity with liquid cooling, Ethernet/InfiniBand networking, and automation tools like Python or shell scripting (preferred).
