Field Engineer, Emergency Call Handling

What you'll do

• Configure on-premise and cloud-hosted Emergency Call Handling (ECH) solutions based on specific site designs.
• Perform site verification testing before transitioning systems into production environments.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local site infrastructure and cloud-hosted application environments.
• Provide technical support to customers and channel partners during the deployment of ECH solutions.
• Document all system changes, including cloud tenant configurations and API integrations, during implementation.
• Resolve installation and quality issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Develop and approve Methods of Procedure (MOP) for cloud migrations and system upgrades.
• Participate in pre-contract oral presentations and customer negotiations as required.

What we're looking for

• High School diploma, G.E.D., Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
• Ability to travel more than 75% of the time.
• Experience with cloud platforms and deployment models such as Azure, AWS, or private clouds (preferred).
• Relevant cloud certifications like AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (preferred).
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+ certifications (preferred).
• Experience with server virtualization, database servers, and various operating systems including Windows and Linux.
• Experience in public safety applications deployment and integration (preferred).
