As a Senior Engineer - Product Debug Team, you will ensure software stability on Qualcomm SoCs throughout the product lifecycle from pre-silicon validation to commercialization. You will investigate and resolve system and software stability issues across multi-processor, Linux, and multi-RTOS environments while performing timing analysis for performance optimization. Your daily work involves collaborating with cross-functional teams for issue triage, participating in chip bring-up scrums, and developing automation scripts to improve debug processes. You will utilize tools such as JTAG, ETM, Trace32, GDB, and oscilloscopes to perform code inspection and log analysis. The role requires proficiency in C, C++, Python, or Perl, along with knowledge of Linux kernel internals, device drivers, ARM/Cortex/Hexagon architectures, and DSP subsystems. You will solve complex technical problems involving hardware-software interactions and neural network execution on DSPs.

What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of experience, OR Master's with 1+ year, OR a PhD.
2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
Experience in the semiconductor or embedded systems domain (preferred).
Proficiency in C/C++ programming and familiarity with Assembly (preferred).
Solid understanding of Linux internals, device drivers, memory management, and RTOS fundamentals (preferred).
Awareness of debugging tools like Trace32 and GDB, and hardware/software interaction (preferred).
Familiarity with ARM/Cortex/Hexagon architectures and bus systems (preferred).
Exposure to scripting languages for automation and experience with Linux device drivers or system-level debugging (preferred).
