Senior Engineer, Electrical

What you'll do

• Lead the design, testing, and debugging of complex electrical hardware and embedded systems.
• Create electrical schematics and oversee PCB layout processes.
• Perform formal design reviews and provide technical guidance to the engineering team.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and document all technical decisions.
• Apply design control and risk management practices in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level engineers.
• Support cross-functional initiatives with mechanical, software, manufacturing, and quality teams.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering (preferred: medical devices, aerospace, or automotive).
• Expertise in circuit design and simulation using tools such as SPICE, Altium Designer, or equivalent software.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and communication protocols like CAN, I2C, and SPI.
• Experience performing product development activities in a regulated or documented design environment.
• Ability to travel up to 10% for domestic and international travel.
• Ability to work in office, laboratory, clean room, and manufacturing environments.
• Experience with embedded software (C and/or C++), medical device environments, or regulatory submission documentation (preferred).
